QUARTERLY MEETINGS
"bRING IT TO THE TABLE"
4 quarterly meetings/mixers are put on the calendar with a "Bring It To The Table" theme. These meetings are open to any member, their guests, or anyone from the general public that would like to learn more. We ask for a $5 donation for non-members to help support and show gratitude to the different locations and that help to support these meeting or our charitable endeavors. RSVP is required for these events.
"Bring It To The Table" events will contain the following:
1. Announcements.
2. A special Introduction of one or more members.
3. A opportunity for some members to have display tables depending on venue size. The will be limited and require a quick form to be filled out, and we will ask each vendor to donate a door prize that will be given away that evening. (Table display opportunities will be handed out equitably and in a balanced way. A simple flip of a coin might even be used if needed. There will be many opportunities for all of us.)
4. If food or drinks are offered at the mixer, please plan on it being a "cash bar" kind of event. If treats are provided, you will have a member or a generous venue to thank!
5. Before the event, you will get to chose what you would like to "Bring To The Table" and don't worry, it will be going home with you, unless you want it to be a door prize or you bring something edible. The item you bring will get put on a table with a place card with your name with it. It is an item to inspire conversation. It can be an item from your store or something that you sell. It can be a piece you created and are very proud of. It can be a take out menu of a new restaurant you just tried, book you just read. and movie you just saw, or even a printed out picture of a TV character you just can get enough of. It is something that everyone in the room will get a chance to check out, and you will be pleasantly surprised when you experience it. Business cards are also encouraged, but not required, and those will all be placed together near the check in table.
Forms for RSVP and registration for "BITTT" item you will be bringing, requests to be considered for a vendor table, and if you need something included in announcements will be posted at least 2 weeks prior to the event. First meeting is tentatively scheduled for late June 2017 (weekday evening).
