She's a busy, passionate, outlandish, silly, New Kids On the Block groupie/fanatic/lover...and has one of the biggest hearts in the area. Her life revolves around improving the community, her family, and herself. She aspires and explores how to DO MORE and BE MORE everyday. She believes we are each given "X" amount of time on this planet, so why not disperse your time/talent/treasure into making the world a better place? "Carpe Diem" is not only her mantra, but her impulsive energy will captivate you, and you might find yourself discussing the merits of tattoos, cats, drastic hair changes, moves across the country with her. But, she can also tell you about the 14.5 million kids under 18 living in poverty, shouldering more than they should have to, and how it goes on right here in our community. She is a lot more than you can imagine or hope for.

Communities In Schools - Bay Area is a non-profit organization serving the most at-risk (kids that are most likely to drop out of school at any grade) and implementing personal plans to keep these kids in school so they are successful through graduation and beyond.
